Posted: Mon Jan 10, 2005 7:05 pmI just got an email from Scotsman marketing that they don't make a home unit for nugget ice due to some technical challenges that must be overcome. Maybe I can find a used commercial unit that will fit in my garage...
I find it funny that Scotsman trademarked Nugget Ice (tm).
They actually have a site and an email address for nugget ice for those interested.

I guess I should see if I can buy some stock in Sonic. I did a few quick calculations in my head and think I spent around $1,000 last year in Route 44 Cokes (with extra ice) alone.
