I had gastric by pass surgery in July of 2003 and have lost 82 pounds. Just a couple of weeks ago I started crunching ice and now I am totally out of control. How can this be stopped? My whole face is sore from crunching.

I think it has a lot to do with low iron. That seems to be the most common denominator. I too had gastric bypass and I am always dealing with low iron. Try supplementing your iron and eat a lot of iron protein.
